We all come to times in our lives where we need direction, connection, and/or balance. Whether it is our past, present, or future that brings us to a desire for change, we each hold the power to heal. I believe that through honest self-exploration we can identify the roots of our discomfort and also the path forward. I believe in the innate goodness of each person and their power to create the solutions to overcome the challenges they face. I work as a partner in self-discovery and healing by creating a safe, non-judgmental space to begin the often difficult work of lowering defenses and looking into the most protected areas of ourselves.
I can help you: Establish healthy dynamics for interacting with yourself and others; Develop strategies for meeting your needs while caring for those around you; Define what it is you want to change and develop a plan of action; Identify the roles in your life and establish balance between them; Discover and reintegrate lost and/or forgotten pieces of yourself; and Heal from your past, so you can live in the present.
We will accomplish this work together by exploring patterns of behavior and thought, belief systems, and ideals. We will look at expectations of self and others, how they developed, and how they contribute to our overall sense of worth and value. We will identify the early beginnings of these patterns and systems and their role in ongoing life challenges, and establish appropriate alternatives. This work can be done individually, with a partner, or as a family. I look forward to walking with you on this path of discovery, healing, balance, and peace.
